Getting started
What is Temway?
Temway is a visual email builder that lets you compose, preview, and export email templates using a drag-and-drop editor — no code required.
Do I need to know HTML or coding?
No. Temway’s drag-and-drop editor handles the underlying HTML for you. You design visually and export production-ready code when you’re done.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Temway runs entirely in your browser — just sign in and start building. There is nothing to download or install.
Which email clients render correctly?
Temway renders client-safe HTML that displays consistently across Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail, so you don’t have to hand-tweak code per client.
How do I sign in?
Sign in with your Google account. Google is the only sign-in method, so there’s no separate password to manage.
Plans & billing
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 1 workspace, 1 team member, 15 emails, 5 layouts, 10 exports per month, and 100 MB of storage — no credit card required.
What are the differences between plans?
Plans scale by workspaces, team members, storage, version history, and support level. See the full comparison at the pricing table, or read our billing and plans docs for the details.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal. Downgrades are applied with safeguards that protect your existing usage until it naturally drops to the new limit.
How am I billed?
Subscriptions are billed monthly through LemonSqueezy and auto-renew until canceled. You can manage your subscription and payment method from your team’s billing settings.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
Temway checks plan limits inline and will let you know when an action would exceed your tier, including a suggestion for the cheapest plan that fits your needs.
Building emails
Can I use my own brand colors and fonts?
Yes. Each workspace has its own branding (colors and fonts) that applies across your emails. Custom fonts are available on every plan, including Free.
Does the Free plan include a Temway badge?
Yes. Emails built on the Free plan include a "Designed with Temway" badge. Upgrading to any paid plan — Starter, Pro, or Max — removes it.
Can I preview on mobile?
Yes. The editor includes a desktop and mobile preview toggle, so you can see how your email will look on both before exporting.
Is there version history?
Yes. Publishing an email snapshots a version that you can restore later, which resets the email to draft so you can re-export. Plan caps apply: 3 on Free, 10 on Starter, and 100 on Pro and Max. See the version history docs for details.
How many emails and layouts can I create?
Free includes 15 emails and 5 layouts as lifetime totals; Starter, Pro, and Max include unlimited emails and layouts. See the billing and plans docs for the full breakdown.
Can I build emails with AI?
Yes. Temway’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) server connects Claude, ChatGPT, and other MCP-compatible AI assistants to your workspace, so you can create, edit, preview, and publish emails and layouts in plain language. Connect via sign-in on the web, or with an API key for desktop and programmatic clients. See the MCP docs for setup and example prompts.
Collaboration
Can my team work together?
Yes. Invite teammates to your workspace, share designs, and collaborate with role-based permissions. See the team docs for details on roles and access.
How many teammates can I add?
Plan limits apply: 1 member on Free, 3 on Starter, 10 on Pro, and 100 on Max.
Can I manage multiple brands or clients?
Yes. Each workspace has its own branding and assets, so you can keep separate brands or clients isolated. Plans include 1, 3, 10, or unlimited workspaces (Max).
How do team invitations work?
Workspace admins send token-based invitations by email. Recipients sign in with Google, then accept or decline the invite. Plan member limits are checked at both send and accept time.
Export & sending
Can I export the HTML?
Yes. With one click, Temway renders production-ready HTML that you can paste into any email service provider. See our export docs for details.
Which email providers are compatible?
Temway pushes a rendered email straight into your account as an editable template for twenty popular ESPs — Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Campaign Monitor, SendGrid, Brevo, Postmark, Mailgun, Mailjet, Omnisend, MailerLite, ActiveCampaign, GetResponse, MailerSend, Moosend, Kit, Dotdigital, Mailtrap, Elastic Email, and iContact. Any other ESP that accepts custom HTML works too via one-click export. See the ESP integrations docs for details.
Can I send emails directly from Temway?
Temway is a builder and exporter, not an email service provider — you send production campaigns from your own ESP using the exported HTML. You can run in-app test sends to preview how an email renders before exporting.
How many test sends can I do?
Test sends are limited per user on a rolling 24-hour window: 5 on Free, 20 on Starter, 50 on Pro, and 100 on Max.
Does Temway store my exported HTML?
Yes. Each completed export is stored on the email, and publishing snapshots the current HTML alongside the design’s content so you can re-download or restore later. See our export docs for details.
