Export and HTML
Temway is a builder and exporter — not an email service provider. You compose visually, then export the rendered HTML and paste it into your ESP to deliver campaigns. This keeps you in control of sending, deliverability, and audience management while Temway focuses on producing clean, reliable email markup.
How exporting works
When you export an email, Temway turns your design into a single, self-contained HTML document. The output is:
- Responsive — adapts cleanly to desktop and mobile clients.
- Reliable everywhere — styles are baked directly into each element, so the email renders correctly even in strict email clients that ignore separate stylesheets.
- Outlook-compatible — built to render correctly in Outlook, including the older desktop versions that need extra care.
The result renders reliably in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, and all other major email clients.
The export flow
- Open your email in the builder and finalize the design.
- Click Export to render the email to HTML.
- Copy the generated HTML.
- Paste it into your ESP’s HTML/code editor.
That’s the entire production path: build → export → paste into your ESP → send.
ESP compatibility
The exported HTML is standard email markup, so it works in any provider that accepts pasted HTML. Temway is regularly used alongside:
- Mailchimp — paste into the Code Your Own / import HTML template flow.
- SendGrid — paste into the Code Editor or upload as a custom template.
- Any other HTML-accepting ESP — Customer.io, Amazon SES, and others.
Twenty providers — including Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Postmark, and more — also support a one-click push that writes the template straight into your account. See ESP integrations for the full list.
If your provider has a “paste HTML” or “import custom HTML” option, Temway’s export works there.
Test sends
Temway includes an in-app test send feature so you can preview an email in a real inbox before exporting. Test sends are delivered by Temway to an address you specify — they are a preview tool, not a production sending pipeline.
Test sends use per-user daily limits on a rolling 24-hour window:
| Plan | Test sends per day |
|---|---|
| Free | 5 |
| Starter | 20 |
| Pro | 50 |
| Max | 100 |
The quota is tracked per user (not per team), and resets as the 24-hour window rolls forward. When you hit the limit, Temway returns the current usage and plan so you know exactly when the next test send becomes available.
Production sending
Temway does not send production campaigns. Once you’re happy with a test send:
- Export the email to HTML.
- Paste the HTML into your ESP.
- Send or schedule the campaign from your ESP.
This separation keeps deliverability, audience management, and sending infrastructure entirely in the ESP you already trust.
Next steps
- Snapshots of every publish are kept in version history.
- Keep styling consistent across emails with branding.
